Assistant Professor of Psychology & Education South Hadley, MA
The Department of Psychology and Education at Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the area of social psychology beginning July 1, 2023. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of strong teaching at the undergraduate level, an active research program that can engage undergraduates as research assistants, and experience mentoring students who are broadly diverse with regard to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, and religion. The successful candidate will teach 200-level courses in social psychology as well as advanced 300-level laboratory and seminar courses in their area of specialization. The candidate will also contribute to one of three core courses (i.e., Introduction to Psychology, Statistics, or Research Methods). The teaching load is 4 courses per year.

Assistant Director of External Relations South Hadley, MA
Career Development Center: The Career Development Center at Mount Holyoke College helps students explore interests, refine their paths, chart a course for the future, and gain the practical experience needed to succeed. We facilitate connections between students and employers, alums, and other professionals to create opportunities to engage and build networks. Position Summary: Mount Holyoke is currently searching for an Assistant Director to join our team in the Career Development Center. As a key member of the team, the Assistant Director will take leadership on the overall priority of engaging alums and employers in career development programs and services for students. The Assistant Director will cultivate and steward relationships with alums who are interested in providing support for students, plan programs with alums, and will develop and manage programs that connect Mount Holyoke students with alums and employers. The Assistant Director will also work closely with their Career Development Center colleagues to plan and execute a comprehensive career development program for Mount Holyoke College students and recent graduates; provide individual advising; design and lead workshops and events; produce career-oriented materials; and collaborate with academic departments and other campus partners.

ASC’s Rare Book collection reflects the curriculum of Mount Holyoke over time. It spans the history of print culture as well as contemporary fine press and artists books. Reporting to the Head of Archives and Special Collections (ASC), this position offers the opportunity to join a department that is committed to developing user-centered and transformative approaches to archival work. As a member of the ASC department, this person will provide technical expertise to expand and care for the digital tools that enable students, faculty, staff, alums, and researchers to use our distinctive collections more widely. The work of this position will include collaborations with the Digital Library and Academic Technologies department and other departments at LITS, Mount Holyoke College, and the Five Colleges. Each member of the ASC department actively promotes the commitment of the College and LITS to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility by developing and supporting diverse and inclusive collections.
