The Facilities Management department supports the administration, faculty, staff, and students in the quality planning and development of facilities projects that support our mission. Our talented staff of approximately 140 Full-Time employees (FTEs) (Cleaning, Mechanical Trades, Central Heating Plant, Grounds, Carpentry, Stockroom, EH&S, Fleet Services, and Mail Services & Duplication) are responsible for more than 2,000,000 square feet (SF) of property in over 60+ major buildings and for maintaining more than 300 acres. MH Fund Officer for Leadership Annual Giving South Hadley, MA
As the Mount Holyoke Fund Officer for Leadership Annual Giving, you'll have the important job of managing a group of potential donors and volunteers who are capable of making annual gifts ranging from $1,837 to $25,000 to the Mount Holyoke Fund. You'll be their guide through the fundraising process, from discovery to cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. You'll also have the pleasure of meeting with 70+ alumni each year, both in person and via Zoom, to promote support and membership in the Cornerstone Society, which recognizes donors who give $1,837 or more annually to the College. Although this role requires regular travel, it's an exciting opportunity to connect with others who share a passion for making a difference. In addition, you'll oversee The Mount Holyoke Fund strategy and volunteer management for ten post-50th Reunion classes with the goal of maintaining high levels of engagement and support after the 50th Reunion. You'll also serve as the staff liaison to the Beyond the 50th Committee, which is a high-level volunteer group representing post-50th Reunion classes. This will involve regular communication, facilitating conference calls, and assisting with the work of the Beyond the 50th Committee. But don't worry, your role will be fully supported by the Associate Director for Leadership Annual Giving. It's a big job, but we know you're up for the task!

Area Coordinator, Community Standards South Hadley, MA
The Area Coordinator is a 12-month live-in position. The Area Coordinator is responsible for the overall functioning of a student residence area of campus consisting of 6-8 residence halls, including direct supervision and development of Residential Fellows and Resident Advisors. Area Coordinators work with the Assistant Vice President of Student Life Engagement and Executive Director of Residential Life and the Associate Director of Residential Life & Orientation to develop an environment where individual responsibility and respect for differences are fostered and valued. In addition, the Area Coordinators are responsible for planning and promoting programmatic initiatives that will support community development. The Area Coordinator for Community Standards will also hold a collateral assignment working with the office of Community Standards and assist in hearing in conduct cases, advising the Honor Code Council and assigning appropriate outcomes. A partially furnished apartment with utilities is included. This is an ideal position for a new professional. This is an entry-level position with a limit of three years, with a possible extension for one additional year max. Salary is $44,000.

Associate Director of Residential Life & Orientation South Hadley, MA
The Associate Director of Residential Life and Orientation is a 12-month position who reports to the Assistant Vice President of Student Engagement and Executive Director of Residential Life. The Associate Director will be responsible for the selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of three Area Coordinators. The Associate Director will oversee all community development efforts in the residence halls, work closely with our living learning community and help establish a residential curriculum. The Associate Director will work with Area Coordinators to ensure the selection, training and development of 76 student staff. The Associate Director will also directly supervise the Orientation Captains and indirectly supervise the Orientation Leaders as they work to produce a comprehensive welcoming experience for students on campus in the Fall and Spring. The Associate Director of Residential Life and Orientation will support the efforts of large scale office sponsored events, office communication and marketing efforts, and participate in campus wide committees as needed. This position does serve in our On-Call rotation as a back up staff member. Special preference will be given to those with experience working in living-learning communities. A partially furnished apartment with utilities included. This position requires 3-5 years of experience and is ideal for anyone who enjoys a varied work environment and a collaborative work style. The salary range is $48,000-$50,000.
