The Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites applications for a tenure-track position in statistics at the Assistant Professor level to begin Fall 2023. Qualifications include a doctorate in statistics or a related field (completed or anticipated by Fall 2023), a commitment to teaching and scholarship in a liberal arts environment, and evidence of classroom effectiveness. The Office of Admission engages a sophisticated and robust recruitment program to bring in a class of 545 first-year students each cycle. The Office of Admission processes nearly 5000 first year applications, transfer and Frances Perkins Scholar applications for admission each year. The Associate Director for Access and Inclusion, under the supervision of the Director of Admission (US) and Campus Visit Experience, is charged with supporting the strategic work being undertaken to map a long-term plan that builds on Mount Holyoke’s successful recruitment program for first-generation, low-income students and students of color. The Associate Director will convey key institutional messages to prospective students and parents on- and off-campus and cultivate professional relationships with guidance counselors and key educational organizations.

The Department of Psychology and Education at Mount Holyoke College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the area of social psychology beginning July 1, 2023. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of strong teaching at the undergraduate level, an active research program that can engage undergraduates as research assistants, and experience mentoring students who are broadly diverse with regard to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, and religion. The successful candidate will teach 200-level courses in social psychology as well as advanced 300-level laboratory and seminar courses in their area of specialization. The candidate will also contribute to one of three core courses (i.e., Introduction to Psychology, Statistics, or Research Methods). The teaching load is 4 courses per year.

Mount Holyoke College is seeking an Assistant Director of Athletics for Communications who will serve on the athletics senior administrative team. This is a full-time, 12-month position responsible for assisting in the administrative duties of the athletics department specific to athletic communications and game-day scheduling. ASC’s Rare Book collection reflects the curriculum of Mount Holyoke over time. It spans the history of print culture as well as contemporary fine press and artists books. Reporting to the Head of Archives and Special Collections (ASC), this position offers the opportunity to join a department that is committed to developing user-centered and transformative approaches to archival work. As a member of the ASC department, this person will provide technical expertise to expand and care for the digital tools that enable students, faculty, staff, alums, and researchers to use our distinctive collections more widely. The work of this position will include collaborations with the Digital Library and Academic Technologies department and other departments at LITS, Mount Holyoke College, and the Five Colleges.
